Nancy listened to what I wanted to
accomplish and created a training program
that was fun and innovative.  I lost 50lbs and

Stephanie, age 14
Steph began working with Nancy at the end of May 2007. At this time, she would lay, not sit, around the house. When
her friends came over to get her outside, she’d yell and tell them to leave. Steph tried to be as invisible as possible,
keeping her nose in a book.

The workouts began twice a week with Nancy teaching Steph why muscles do what they do and how each exercise
affected them. When Steph was comfortable, Nancy began teaching her what foods to eat when and why. Nancy
kept the workouts fun and energetic to keep Steph interested, while building knowledge of her body and nutrition.

During the 1st 8 weeks, Steph lost 15lbs. and when school began in the fall, everyone noticed the change in her.
This boosted her confidence and strengthened her will. By this time, Nancy had become her cheerleader, confidant,
and mentor. Steph asked Nancy for more and Nancy delivered. The workouts became more complex and harder,
adding plyometrics, circuit training, more cardio. When volleyball season started, Nancy worked with Steph on
increasing her vertical jump, agility, and power. She now moves all over the court and is an asset to her team.

Nancy moved Steph to three times per week in October. During the worst time of the year, Thanksgiving and
Christmas, Steph lost most of her weight. At each holiday, she was very conscience of her intake and exercise. She
lost most of her weight during the holidays!!
